Rockets Rebound and Beat Lakers

I've been critical of the Rockets poor defense thus far this season and Friday's road loss to the Sacramento Kings hammered home the sorry defense crystal clear; however, the Rockets pulled up their shorts and bounced back Sunday night and defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 101 to 91 in La-La land.

Aaron Brooks scored a game-high 33 points; and, AB once again befuddled the Lakers (7-3) defense.

David Andersen scored 19 points off the bench on 9 for 14 shooting as Lakers' center Andrew Bynum must not have realized Andersen can regularly knock down face up jump shoots.

The Rockets (6-4) out-rebounded the much taller Lakers 60 to 38.

Kobe Bryant was bothered by a sore groin and Trevor Ariza's solid defense and shot an icy 5 for 20 in the game.

Check out some post-game videos from the Lakers from the L.A. Times. Good stuff.
