Celtics at Rockets tonight
The Boston Celtics (53-13) will try to snap the Houston Rockets (46-20) 22-game winning streak tonight at 8:30.
Boston defeated the San Antonio Spurs last night; so, you assume the Rockets have an edge because the C's played the previous night.
Not, so fast. Boston is 13 and 2 on the second game of back-t0-back games this season.
The Rockets are clicking on all cylinders; and, Rafer Alston is averaging 15.7 points and 6.6 assists over the Rockets' current winning streak. Alston scored a career-high 31 points this past Sunday versus the LA Lakers.
Tonight's game is the second time the two teams will play in the regular season. Boston edged the Rockets earlier this season 97 to 93 in Boston on January 2, 2008. Tracy McGrady missed the game due to his injured left knee.
