Sports Rap's All-Time NBA Team by Decade
Ralph Cooper of KCOH 1430 AM Sports Rap posed an interesting topic to his listeners this evening: Name your All-Time NBA Team by Decade.
However, here's the catch. Each player has to represent a different decade. Therefore, one player from the 1960s, one from the 1970s; etc.
Note: A player could have played in more than one decade. Also, the team did is not based on player positions -- just your top 5. Period.
Here's my team:
1960s - Bill Russell
1970s - Wilt Chamberlain
1980s - Magic Johnson
1990s - Michael Jordan
2000s - Dwyane Wade
Callers have started their team in the 1950s and the 1940s, too. If I did start with the 1950s and / or the 1940s George Mikan would be on my team; and, probably Slater Martin, too.
A very interesting topic indeed...
