Poor Defense Dooms Rockets

Due to a huge lack of offensive firepower, the Houston Rockets cannot win games when they allow the opposition to score more tn 90 points. Despite scoring a surprising 91 points Monday night, the Rockets lost to the LA Clippers by eight points, 99 to 91. Yao Ming scored 25 points and grabbed 17 boards; but, the Clips swarmed him in the fourth quarter and dared the Rockets to beat them from the perimeter. Houston couldn't.

The highlight of Monday's game was the "Shake your Booty" dance during one of the time-outs -- especially when one woman in particular shook hers.

Houston is now 29 and 38; and, with a game versus the Dallas Mavericks tonight, the Rockets are staring at a 29 and 39 record as well as missing the playoffs.
